Lecturer Prof. Dr. Pramod Mistry, Director of the Yale School of Medicine Lysosomal Disease Center, Professor of Cellular & Molecular Physiology, and Professor of Internal Medicine in the Yale New Haven Hospital Klatskin Liver Diseases and Liver Transplant Unit paid a visit to our center. During the visit, Dr. Mistry shared his knowledge and experience with us, as well as some of the outcomes of the scientific studies carried out by him and his team and their work on Gaucher’s disease. He said that the center had been extremely successful in its studies of rare diseases, both physically and in terms of equipment, and discussed the potential for joint studies and bilateral cooperation.
